An Evening for Let's Get UEA Talking

FOR MEMBERS OF DANCE CLUBS: An evening all about Mental Health! There will be a members-panel with Headucate to talk about all things mental health, followed by a workshop by UEA Student Services on "How to Support a Friend"

We are inviting members of the Dance Clubs to join us for an evening of mental health awareness together with Headucate and UEA Student Services!

Being a university student, balancing hobbies, social life and whatever else life throws at us can be very challenging. How do we deal with it? And how can we support each other when we have a lot to deal with?

Come along to an evening for Let's Get UEA Talking, where we will sit down and have a chat about mental health and well-being with some of our members, as well as learning some valuable ways we can be there to support each other and ourselves through hard times!

The evening will consist of two main parts with a break inbetween:

6:30-7:15: A panel talk with members of Dance Squad and Headucate about Mental Health and how we deal with it.

7:15-7:30: PIZZA! 

7:30-8:30: How to Support a Friend workshop with UEA Student Services

Note: There will be discussion on potentially triggering subjects about mental health. This will be informed at the start of the session, and you will be signposted to members of our committee if you wish to leave and/or need any support. 

There will also be photography at the event. Due to the nature of the event there is strictly NO FILMING ALLOWED!
