Lord of the Rings: The Pantomime!

Join us in the LCR for our theatrical version (read: the official, professional performance) and a night full of fun!

How be, boys, girls and nonbinary pals? Welcome one and all to UEA Pantomime Society's LORD OF THE RINGS: THE PANTOMIME!

Follow the universally loved Samwise and the definitely-not dead Frodo on their quest to destroy the One Ring to Rule Them All and keep Middle Earth safe from the evil Saruman. Meet our loveable Eowyn and our significantly less loveable Legolas on a wild journey across the realm. You're in for a night full of songs, jokes, and everyone's favourite - audience interaction. (No, really. Don't sit at the front unless you want to attract the attention of our actors.)

The tickets on this page are for the THEATRICAL VERSION of the show - Friday 28th January in the LCR, with doors opening at 7pm for a 7:30 start. Runtime is roughly 2 hours. This is our all singing, all dancing official script, complete with professional lighting, sound and choreography.

IMPORTANT STUFF. TAKE NOTES.

-This performance includes flashing lights and loud noises at multiple points.

-Please buy a ticket - one per person. You will be checked at the door for these!

-The performance is suitable for people ages 14+ due to strong language. Seriously, don't bring your kids unless you want them to learn a few new words.

-Seriously, don't sit in the front row unless you're fine with being hit on by our dame and hauled onstage

COVID-19 GUIDANCE

To enter the event, you will need to show one of the following:

- Proof of full vaccination (second dose at least 14 days ago) shown using an in-date NHS COVID Pass or Vaccination Card (matching photo ID must be provided if using card)

OR

- Email or text proof of a negative lateral flow test, taken the same day as the event and result registered at www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result

Audience members are also strongly encouraged to wear masks
