Do Something Different is an extracurricular programme delivered by the Students’ Union, with the support of the UEA, to enhance your time at university. Whether you want to find a new hobby to pursue, take a mindful break from your studies, or just have fun with your friends, we put on a DSD activity everyday so there will be something that wil work for you. Do Something Different activites are quirky and non-alcohol focused, so if you're not into nights out or drinking then this may be the perfect thing to buy to make your Welcome Week that little bit different!

 So What’s Happening? 

Red Bus Tours – Monday 23rd - Leaving from outside the LCR have an hour tour of Norwich and take in all the sites this fine city has to offer!  There will be three bus tours leaving campus at the following times:  4:30pm, 6:00pm, and 7:15pm.  Please at least 15 minutes early. Do Something Different wristband holders are guaranteed entry to one of these tours. However, wristband holders cannot book access onto a specific timed tour.  

Trip to Gravity Trampoline Park – Tuesday 24th - Meet us in town for a hop and a bounce at Gravity trampoline park. Exclusive to wristband holders. Meeting at Gravity Trampoline Park at 5:30pm. Transport not provided but accessible via Blue Line Bus Route (Number 25 & 26 Buses) 

Laugh at the LCR – Thursday 26th  – Get ready for your sides to split and for a night of belly laughs at the LCR – Acts to be announced soon! Doors at 10pm.

Roller Disco – Friday 27th – Get your skates on and enjoy a roller disco on campus. Think disco anthems and 80s dress up. Skate hire is included in the ticket cost, though pros are welcome to bring your own! With this wristband you have access to 55 minutes of skating time. There are three tickets you will be able to choose from:  5:00pm – 5:55 pm, 6:00pm – 6:55pm, and 7:00pm – 7:55 pm. For full info, see event here. This event is subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled in the event of bad weather. 

Outdoor Cinema  –  CANCELLED - UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE HAD TO CANCEL THE OUTDOOR CINEMA EVENT DUE TO BAD WEATHER. IF THERE IS A TIME WHERE THERE IS APPROPRIATE WEATHER IN THE NEAR FUTURE THEN WE WILL AIM TO RUN THE EVENT THEN. IF THERE IS NO APPROPRIATE WEATHER THEN WE ARE LOOKING INTO OTHER OPTIONS. WE WILL EMAIL ANY WRISTBAND HOLDERS WITH UPDATES!

Refunds 

This wristband sale is non-refundable. Once collected, wristbands are the repsonsibility of the wristband holder and the SU is not responsibile for lost or damaged wristbands.
