Naomi Alderman: The Future

Tuesday 05 March 2024, 6:15pm - 7:30pm

The Enterprise Centre Lecture Theatre, UEA

This March, NCW and UEA are thrilled to welcome internationally bestselling author of The Power, Naomi Alderman.

Naomi will be in conversation with UEA Lecturer and fiction writer Julianne Pachico about her latest novel, The Future – a white-knuckle tour-de-force that sees lone individuals taking on tech giants, highlighting how power corrupts the few who have it and what it means to stand up to them. With dazzling intensity, The Future explores the world we have made and where we are going: the future is here.

The event will include an audience Q&A and will be followed by a book signing in the foyer. Books will be available to buy on the evening, provided by Waterstones.

Students will be asked to show a valid student ID with a student ticket.

Please note that this event will take place at The Enterprise Centre, University of East Anglia, Norwich Research Park, Norwich, Norfolk, NR4 7TJ. Find out how to get there →
