Vegan Pot Luck

UEA Vegan Society hosts a potluck on the last Monday of every month, and is opening our social on Monday 27th January to non-members as a taster session for those interested in joining the society in Spring Semester, and as part of the Veganuary camp

The potluck event invites attendees to bring vegan food to share with everyone; this can be anything from a 'chilli sin carne' to a bunch of bananas. For this event, we will play board games whilst we share our food, so that new members can get to know one another as they feast. The main risk/accessibility issue with this event is food allergens, so we ask all attendees to write down the ingredients for all home-cooked recipes, and ensure they bring packaging for shop-bought food. This event allows attendees to share and try plant-based food, whether they're vegan or not, and to open up discussion on eating a plant-based diet, allowing attendees to meet like-minded people.

This is a Do Something Different activity. Do Something Different is an extracurricular programme to enhance your time at university. From our week long festival in February to daily activities ranging from arts to sports, there is a do something different activity happening everyday!
