First Aid - Level 3 Emergency at Work

This is a 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work. It is split into two 3 hour sessions:
6-9pm on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th.
Please make sure you can make both the Wednesday and Thursday evening classes, both are 6-9pm.
During the course you will cover the following;
Introduction to Course, Toilets, Fire Exits, Housekeeping etc
Role of a First Aider/Aims of First Aid
Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively/Primary Survey
Administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious (including seizure)
Administer CPR & AED
Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from heart attack
Administer first aid to a casualty who is choking
Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding
Understand the importance of preventing cross infection
Understand the importance of recording incidents and actions
Understand the importance of use of available equipment
Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock
Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from burns and scalds
Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries including: Small cuts, grazes, bruises and splinters
On completion of this course you will receive a Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate that is recognised by HSE.
