About Event

Voodoo Daddy’s | 68a London St, Norwich NR2 1JT

Please note: Voodoo Daddy’s is not wheelchair accessible.

Hypnotic. Heavenly. Heavy. Zo Lief craft a kaleidoscopic sound that alludes a whimsical nostalgia. Collaging velvety, smoky vocals with fuzzy guitars and swirly synths, they bounce around the walls of psychedelia, dream pop, chamber pop, indie and garage rock.
Zo Lief is the unique collaboration of musical and romantic partners Laura Chen (Dutch singersongwriter, guitarist) and James Attwood (British multi-instrumentalist). Their music is marked by catchy melodic hooks and playful, poetic lyrics that render life and love through an alluring, cinematic lens. Performing live as a three-piece band, they bring their imaginative, retro-futuristic productions to life.

In 2024 they were selected as a 3voor12 Talent by the leading alternative music platform and went on a 12-week tour of The Netherlands for Popronde (the country’s largest traveling music festival).

2025 will see the band promote their new EP with a headline show at Cinetol Amsterdam on June 7th, ahead touring and festival performances throughout UK and Europe, including Supersonic Block Party Festival in Paris and a headline UK tour in October.
