We’ve created a new underground comedy night in the brand-new Voodoo Daddy’s Showroom space, where trusted Red Card Comedy and Laugh in the Park programmers combined with Pizza, Bar and venue vibes create comedy pop ups. Bringing the highest calibre of stand-up comedy to Norwich’s best and only dive bar.
Join us for evening for food, drinks and great sound in our newly transformed space, hosting bar seating, sofa’s and casual vibes mixed with the largest pizza slices in town, great beers and cocktails. These new nights are brought to you from the team behind Laugh in the Park, Norwich’s longest running outdoor comedy festival and Red Card Comedy Club.
James Dowdeswell headlines comedy clubs around the UK with his quirky brand of erudite, off the cuff comedy. He has worked all over the world from Shanghai to Slovakia, Malta to Melbourne. His numerous TV appearances including Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC) and Extras (BBC) where he played the Count in the David Bowie episode. He also presented World Cup Round Up for Sky Sports.
James is latterly becoming known as “The Craft Beer Comedian” His latest show, “Beers Of A Clown” is a hilarious love letter to beer.

Kazeem Jamal – Hailing from the vibrant streets of South East London, Kazeem is a powerhouse performer making waves across the UK and beyond. Renowned for his dynamic storytelling and infectious personality, Kazeem’s unique style blends observational comedy with bold, quick-fire punchlines that keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Whether he’s riffing on the absurdities of everyday life or diving into personal anecdotes, his performances are a masterclass in comedic timing and crowd engagement.
Lead writer and star of his own BBC Radio 1 sketch series The Andy Field Experience, Andy has made an impact on the comedy scene with his silly style and refreshing approach to traditional stand up.
