About Event

Please contact venue for accessibility

Merlyn Driver is a singer songwriter and nature-focused musician, whose sound draws on folk, as well as other global and contemporary influences. Merlyn’s debut album, It Was Also Sometimes Daylight, will be released in October 2025. The songs are shaped by Merlyn’s unconventional Orkney upbringing, as well as his lifelong love of nature and many years of intercultural exploration. His last project was the critically-acclaimed multi-artist album, Simmerdim: Curlew Sounds (2022), released with the RSPB. This is the final gig on Merlyn’s tour which includes many nature reserves across the UK.
