MAGNOLIA
Formed in 2022 whilst still at college, they are a supercharged fusion of both new and old. Think Black Midi, Swans and Opus Kink, then add a pinch of early Hawkwind and a dab of King Crimson, and you get the exquisite woven tapestry of avant-garde rock that is MAGNOLIA.

Their reputation as captivating live performers is already well set. On stage MAGNOLIA evoke a sonic battleground with jabbing, staccato sax leading the assault on the senses. They are wild and gritty yet joyful and uplifting…bursting with method, spirit and feeling.

FEMME DE
“New noise out of Norfolk” who formed in late 2021. In three years of playing live shows they have supported acts such as Petrol Girls, DITZ, Shooting Daggers, Other Half, and OHHMS. Their single “38” was picked up by the Alyx Holcolmbe Introducing Rock show on Radio 1, following support from Kitty Perrin (BBC Introducing Norfolk). Tracks with abrasive riffs, gritty bass tones, tight rhythms and hectic structures are balanced with more exposed songs with conversational and personal lyrics, yelled & screamed directly from the heart and guts, delivering an intense and mesmerising set.

YER BLOOZE
The moniker ‘yer blooze’ of English multi-instrumentalist Dylan Clarke may bear its name from a White Album deep cut, but this influence is far from alone within his sonic palette. Bridging together the sounds picked up from involvements in his local scene (noise music, ambient, psyche & English folk), yer blooze also weaves in personal taste from genres such as progressive rock and gypsy jazz, all within indie rock and neopsyche structures. Self-spun choral harmonies atop natural acoustic instrumentation, bolsters elated melodic moments that coalesce with, and against, strident and brash distortion – heavily layered to form harsh noise rock passages – akin to the resurgent sound of post punk.

MR JASON will be up on the mezzanine playing records to make you dance, smile, sing, and maybe cry.
