About Event

Following some stand out shows in 2023 including We Out Here Festival in Dorset and Forwards Festival in Bristol, a return to the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club across 2 nights and a memorable final show of the year at KOKO celebrating 3 decades of the iconic Metalheadz label, the latest and most impressive iteration of Goldie’s live band is here.

Consisting of a unique two-drummer system in Adam Betts and John Blease, the line-up also includes James Davidson – who collaborated with Goldie on the acclaimed Subjective album The Start Of No Regret – and musical director/multi-instrumentalist Matt Calvert, who has worked with Goldie since those legendary Royal Festival Hall gigs back in 2015.

Natalie Williams, the platinum-voiced star of the Goldie vs Ulterior Motive hit I Adore You, and bass synthesist Dan Nicholls complete the line-up.

“I feel like these musicians were born to play my music,” says Goldie. “They get the heart and soul of it, the raw, street vibes and the super-accelerated technological alchemy of it. There’s no
doubt in my mind, these are going to be the most incredible shows we’ve ever done. It’ll be a harder, more club-oriented show this time. We’re plugging directly into the heart of the
rave, into the heart of drum’n’bass. Flick the switch and head to the stars – it’s going to go off.”
