About Event

14+ (under 16s to be accompanied by an adult)

Punk may have started in the late 1970s, but it was forever redefined by the second wave UK82 street punk movement, of which GBH remains one of the most prominent and influential. Their style and image were evolved punk, and their music was faster, louder, and fiercer.

With the original lineup of singer Colin Abrahall, guitarist Jock Blythe, all-but-original bassist Ross Lomas, and long-time drummer Scott Preece in his fourth decade with the band, this is a lineup that knows each other well and has played together longer than many of their new fans have been alive!

Seeing GBH live is always a highly participatory, energetic activity in the midst of a furious punk rock frenzy with its pogoing, fist-raising, and mosh pit banging. This is no Green Day or Blink-182 pop-punk money-making scheme. This is the real thing — old-cool club show fundamentals put on by authentic and enduring punk legends staying forever true to their roots.

Support band – Hotwired are a Norwich punk band currently with Emma on vocals, Paul – lead guitar, Dandelion – guitar, Si – bass, and Lee on drums. Their latest album is Crimes of Future.
