About Event

Energetic, enigmatic and effortlessly stylish Chest revel in cultivating an atmosphere that’s both chaotic and irresistibly captivating. Emerging in 2024 they quickly demanded attention from industry figures and indie fans alike.
Their releases quickly gained radio support including play from local radio, BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio 1. They complemented this with a furious live schedule, exceeding 20 gigs in the year, with highlights including an appearance at Brighten the Corners Festival and headline shows in their hometown of Norwich, Colchester and London. This positioned them to receive recognition as “Ones to watch” for 2025 by BBC Introducing Suffolk and Norfolk, be awarded best new band at the NMG awards, as well as gain media and blog attention including a recent interview for ASBO magazine.
Taking strong influence from guitar driven 90s alt pop, Chest are lauded for creating a sound that is steeped in nostalgia while being intensely modern and novel. Merging inspiration from the likes of Catatonia and Superdrag with more contemporary influences such as Been Stellar and Inhaler Chest are left with a dynamic and genre-defying sound.
With a suite of releases prepared, Chest are dedicating time to refining their artistry to elevate their music and build their momentum further. Their sights are set, Chest are ready to hit hard in 2025.
