About Event

Bilk are an exciting rock and roll band hailing from Chelmsford, Essex. Fusing elements of rock and roll, punk, indie and rap, Bilk’s style can never be pigeon holed. Fronted by charismatic lead singer and guitarist Sol Abrahams and backed by Luke Hare on bass guitar and Harry Gray on drums, Bilk’s music speaks to the youth of today with relatable songs about partying, love, growing up and life in modern Britain in general amongst other things.

The band have a strong cult following of die hard fans who sing every lyric at the shows they attend and have tattoos of the band’s iconic snail logo. Bilk has grown from strength to strength with multiple sell out tours and major festival appearances around the UK packing out the stages of Reading and Leeds festival, Boardmasters, Kendal calling and TRNSMT festival amongst others.

After releasing their debut self titled album in 2023, the band are about to release their second album, “Essex, Drugs and Rock and Roll” early next year on the 24th of January 2025. They will be heading out on their biggest headline tour to date in February 2025 with shows across the UK and Europe. With frantic sold out shows, relatable and witty lyrics, riffs that rival the greats and choruses to sing along with, Bilk are a band not to be missed.
