Want to play tennis competitively at university in our Development Squad or BUCS Teams? Come along to our Trials!

We have 3 Men's BUCS Squads, 1 Women's BUCS Squad, 1 Men's Development Squad and 1 Women's Development Squad which train and play in a number of events across the year. BUCS is suited to experienced players whereas Development Squad is suited to those who need to brush up on their skills. There is the possibility to move up Squads during the year.

• When: Sunday 29th September 1-4pm and Monday 30th September 6:30-8:30pm
• Where: SportsPark Tennis Courts
• What: Our trials consist of a mixture of point play and drills to assess your technique - there are no actual matches.

Where do I go?

If you're confused where to go you can meet us in the SportsPark Café opposite the entrance at 12:45pm on Sunday or 6:15pm on Monday latest. Our committee will then walk you up to the courts!

Do I need to bring a racket and balls?

We provide the balls and we do have a few rackets spare, however it is better to bring your own if you have one! You can also hire a racket from the SportsPark reception.

How do I know if I've made the Squad?

After the captains consult one another following trials, attendees will be sorted into the various squads and messaged usually via. Facebook. Please make sure to add our captains on Facebook!
