The National Undergraduate Orthopaedic and Rheumatology Conference 2020

We are proud to invite all UK medical students to join us at the first conference of its kind: The National Undergraduate Orthopaedic and Rheumatology Conference 2020.

Come to the conference and:

• Broaden your understanding of the work and life of orthopaedic surgeons and rheumatologists, with talks from the best in the field and great networking opportunities
• Get unique and exceptional hands-on experience in several FUN and PRACTICAL orthopaedic and rheumatology workshops - including plating and screwing, bone cementing, VR technology, and exercise-based healing
• Find out more on how YOU can get ahead in your surgical or medical career pathway through our workshops - includes how to build your medical portfolio, how to get involved in research as a medical student, and how to effectively revise and manage your time in medical school
• Get the opportunity to present your poster at a NATIONAL conference to gain points for your medical portfolio

This is THE conference to come to if you're currently studying orthopaedics and rheumatology and want to get ahead in the game, or if you're keen to pursue a career in either of these fields, or if you're just curious about the two specialities.

SCHEDULE
Registration will begin at 9am, with the conference running from 9:30am until 5:30pm (this is to allow everyone an opportunity to experience the wide variety of workshops we have).
Lunch, as well as snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.\

£0 - Members of UEA MedSoc***

£17 - Members of UEA Rheumatology and Orthopaedic society

£20 - Non-members and external students

£39 - Group Ticket (Entry for 3 people together) 

***UEA MedSoc members are eligible for FREE tickets through the conference bursary scheme. You need to purchase a normal ticket and fill out the reimbursement form on the UEA MedSoc website to claim it back*

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Submissions for abstracts will open on 12th December and will close on 10th January. Those who are successful will be notified by 15th January at the latest.
