Eating Disorder Awareness Workshop

Tuesday 09 March 2021, 7pm - 9pm

Blackboard Collaborate

After the success of our first Eating Disorder awareness event, we're pleased to bring you the next part in the series... all attendees will receive a certificate on completion of the workshop feedback. Tuesday 9th March 7-9pm

We're honoured to be hosting the first large-scale educational event with Clinical Lead of Beat, the UK's leading eating disorder charity, Jess Griffiths. Jess designed this event with healthcare professionals and healthcare professional students in mind, although all are welcome to attend! The training has been run on a very small, pilot scale, and this is the first time the training will be available more widely! Beat has also been working on some online training modules, which will also be available to attendees prior to the event. We'll also hear from Dr Jon Wilson, Consultant Psychiatrist about why events like this are so important.

This is a very exciting opportunity and all attendees will receive a certificate signed by Jess on completion of the event.
Join us - Tuesday 9th March 7-9pm on Blackboard Collaborate.

They'll be an opportunity to work in small groups through scenarios and (hopefully) some guest actors to work to put your thoughts into practice!

This event is free to attend, although you can donate to our Beat justgiving page, as a token of appreciation for the training workshop!
