Acclaimed singer–songwriters M G Boulter and Samantha Whates join us to perform Flower Days, their forthcoming alt-folk collaboration, inspired by flowers and their cultural significance throughout history. Recorded at the historic Cambo Estate in Fife with producer Douglas Whates, the project blends experimental textures with the duo’s distinctive songwriting. Boulter, hailed as a “weapons-grade songwriter,” creates vignettes of suburban lives and seaside communities, while Whates—regularly heard on BBC Radio 2 and 6—offers poetic, contemporary songs rooted in her Scottish heritage.
