About Event

Nouvelle Vague, the renowned bossa nova project founded by Marc Collin and the late Olivier Libaux in 2003, are returning to the UK in style in Spring 2027 to celebrate the release of their seventh album, A Date with Depeche Mode.
Nouvelle Vague are reinventing themselves again by dedicating an entire album to the repertoire of a single band for the first time: Depeche Mode. Thirteen iconic songs have been recreated and reinterpreted by new voices. Recorded in Rio with Brazilian musicians, the album establishes a dialogue between the musical soul of Brazil and Depeche Mode’s timeless world, revisited with the Nouvelle Vague touch.
The first single from ‘A Date with Depeche Mode’ is a duet of ‘Enjoy the Silence’ performed by Skye Edwards (Morcheeba) and Larry Love (Alabama 3) alongside Nouvelle Vague. Two voices, two worlds — one song. Recorded in Rio de Janeiro with some of Brazil’s best musicians, the track strips back the Depeche Mode classic to breathe new life into it.
Nouvelle Vague at their best.
This bespoke tour by a band at the very top of their game is not to be missed.
