A blend of virtuosic players, skilled producers and inspired composers join forces to create a unique, infectious sound drawing on jazz, hip-hop, afrobeat, latin, soul, reggae and dance music – expect ultra-tight musicianship and a powerful 9-piece, big band sound.

Nubiyan Twist have earned praise across the UK and internationally, with support from major radio figures, sold-out tours, festival appearances from Glastonbury to Edinburgh Jazz Festival, and performances at venues like the Jazz Café and Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of Southbank Centre’s Meltdown festival curated by David Byrne.

Their sound is celebrated for its infectious energy, tight musicianship and uplifting spirit, spanning grooves perfect for both jazz lovers and dancefloors alike.

A beautiful blend of groovy dub with uplifting horns and soulful vocals” The Guardian
