About Event

After a whirlwind year of sold-out shows, critical acclaim and chart success with his sophomore album ‘Love is For Everyone’, Andrew Cushin today announces a run of live dates in the UK and Europe this October.

Now, backed by a reinvigorated, full-throttle live band featuring Johnny Bond, formerly of Catfish and the Bottlemen, on lead guitar, Cushin is ready to take things to the next level this autumn where fans can expect a full-throttle set packed with soaring new anthems from  the new albumLove Is For Everyone’ and crowd favourites from his much loved debut ‘Waiting for the rain’.

Last month, Andrew Cushin hit Top 40 with ‘Love Is For Everyone’, an album which shows that Andrew is just as adept as delivering raucous rock ‘n’ roll and anthemic singalongs as he is with the introspective singer-songwriter style of his early career. From the melodic rock ‘n’ roll of ‘Alright!’ to the jangly indie-pop of ‘Song For You’ and the raw, ragged energy of ‘New World Blazing’. Or there’s the fiery intensity of ‘Hollywood’, the tribute to Andrew’s roots ‘I’m Coming Home’, or the grunge dynamics of ‘Kiss The Sky’.  ‘Love Is For Everyone’ focuses on shared experiences, and particularly the universal need for people to come together as a community and maintain a sense of hope in tough times.

“This really is the year of my life,” says Cushin. To have a Top 40 record, to be playing sold-out shows, and now to tour across the UK and Europe, and especially come back to Newcastle – to the City Hall – it’s emotional. On this tour, everything is going to be bigger, louder – and I want everyone who’s been on this journey with me – from the pubs to the arenas – to be there. Let’s make it a tour we’ll never forget.”

Physical copies of ‘Love Is For Everyone’ are available HERE. Options include a signed Magpie Edition black-and-white vinyl, a signed gold vinyl, and a specially priced £5 CD wallet edition which is boosted with a live bonus track, ‘More Than You Know’.
