Free Digital Accessibility Training Course!

Are you interested in learning about digital tools to support your studies?

This course will teach you how new technologies can help you with your academic work, including essays, presentations and projects. You will explore up-to-date and user-friendly digital tools and apps, including voice recognition software, text-to-speech and subtitling tools. You will use Apple and Android devices to create your own accessible digital media content. The course will enhance your employability skills, add value to your CV and we hope you will have fun too!

This course is part of the UEA Award Programme. You will receive a certificate and a £60 Amazon or Co-op voucher for taking part.

Who is this course for?

This course is open to students aged 18-35 with Specific Learning Difficulties (e.g., dyslexia, autism, ADHD), physical disabilities or who are Deaf, blind, or partially deaf/sighted.

When is it?

Wednesday afternoons on 5, 12 and 26 February 2020 (2-5pm). Refreshments provided. BSL interpreters and travel assistance also provided where needed.
