Who am I?

Friday 04 October 2019, 9am - 4pm

Rickinghall Village Hall

The event, called “Who am I”, has been organised by the BME Employee Network Group (BME ENG) at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT).

Everyone is welcome! “Who am I” runs from 9.30am to 4pm, with registration opening at 9am. To book a place, visit https://nsftwhoami.eventbrite.co.uk

The conference will be opened by NSFT Chief Executive and BME ENG Chair Professor Jonathan Warren before Trust Chair Marie Gabriel will discuss why we should celebrate black history.

It will bring together inspirational speakers Itai Kudzanai (aka Kudzie), who presents ‘The Digging Deep Show’ on Sky TV, and activist Patrick Vernon OBE, who led the campaign for 22 June to be recognised as Windrush Day in celebration of the contribution migrants make to UK society.

During the afternoon, guests will be given the chance to enjoy some Afro Caribbean food before trying their hand at Salsa, Bachata and Merengue dancing to live music from Jose Ferrera Mulen and the Banda.
