FREE 3 hr domestic and relationship abuse training from Leeway.
1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime, but what is it? Leeway Domestic Violence and Abuse Services are working in partnership with the UEA and Student Union, to deliver training to students and staff, to develop their understanding of the impact and effects of domestic abuse. The training is designed to give delegates the knowledge to identify the signs of domestic abuse and the confidence to respond appropriately to disclosures.

HEALTH WARNING - Domestic abuse is a sensitive issue that may generate emotional responses from the training. It is possible that during the training, people may recognise some of the more subtle elements of behaviour that constitutes domestic abuse, that they may have experienced and/or perpetrated. Safety and welfare measures will be in place and explained at the start of each training session
