Red Card Comedy present Laugh In The Park, an annual stand-up comedy festival held in Norwich city centre with a stellar line up of acts. Transforming Chapelfield Gardens into a delightful performance and bar area, Laugh In The Park is an established highlight of the summer arts and cultural event programming in Norwich. 

Over 4 beautiful summers evenings in July in the idyllic park setting, we present 4 outstanding nights of comedy in the big top performance tent. Featuring such acts such as Chris Ramsey, Phill Jupitus, Lucy Porter, Phil Nichol and Stephen K Amos, Norwich city centre will become a go-to laughter-zone. With a great bar, delicious street food stall and such great comedy, we hope to see you there!

Phill Jupitus is a bit of a National Treasure nowadays, and certainly a household name, Phill Jupitus started performing as ‘Porky The Poet’ way back in the mid 80’s.  His stand-up career quickly led on to a hugely successful career on TV’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks,  plus appearances on just about every quiz show ever made on both TV and radio since.   He’s a lovely, inherently funny, deeply creative and naturally entertaining chap,  and a work-aholic who is constantly travelling the length and breadth of the UK performing a wide range of shows from stand-up comedy to poetry to live art installations.

Laura Lexx – Bubbly, cheeky and, above all, absolutely hilarious, Laura has a loveable confessional style with a unique, joyous take on the funny world we live in.  “It’s difficult to see what will stop her success”   (The Skinny) ‘One of the most delightful performers you’re ever likely to see’   (GQ Magazine).

 

John Mann – Red Card original host and a popular gag-smith at clubs throughout the UK, John is guaranteed to keep the night rolling along, the jokes coming and the audiences laughing.
