The Jack and Tim story really begins with a story about a great friendship between a father and son, a mutual passion for singing, song writing and guitars, and an unbreakable bond that can be clearly heard through their connection with music.

Having already had an exciting music career in song writing and production - including several major label no. 1 singles and albums, 2 x Aria Nominations, and scoring prime time TV shows as well as hundreds of TV synchs - Tim Goodacre took a break from music to bring up his young family in the Norfolk countryside where they reside today.

It was quickly apparent his son Jack, an incredibly talented young guitarist, songwriter and singer, would start creating a journey for himself. At age 11 Jack entered ITV's ‘The Voice Kids’ and made it all the way to the semi-finals. An audition followed for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘School Of Rock’, which landed Jack the lead Guitarist role of ‘Zack Mooneyham’, a role Jack played for a full 12 months to sold out international audiences in the London West End.

Directly after, Jack convinced Dad to audition for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ with a song they had written together called ‘The Lucky Ones’. The audition resulted in Simon Cowell pressing his elusive Golden Buzzer, catapulting Jack and Tim into the semi-finals. Although Jack & Tim didn't win the final, they won the hearts of many with their original songs and performances. From this, the father and son due have only gone on to success.

Jack and Tim are currently writing their debut album – entitled ‘The Lucky Ones’ after the original song that made their journey possible – with some of the best writers and producers from around the globe.
