Saturday 02 March 2019, 6:30pm - 10pm

Telling Truths

Telling Truths are a 5 piece female-fronted alternative rock band from Norwich, for fans of PVRIS, Marmozets and You Me At Six. Telling Truths released their debut EP in June 2018 along with a music video for their single Cover Your Tracks. So far they have played gigs supporting the Pearl Harts, Burn the Headlines and KAVES.

Blood Like Honey

Norwich Sad Punk, for fans of The Xcerts, Black Foxxes, Japandroids and Weezer.

Idolising Nova

Idolising Nova are a 3-piece indie pop band from Peterborough who formed in 2016. Since then their music has been played on BBC Radio 2, Radio X, ITV, Kerrang! Radio and more.

Live shows of note include supporting The Vamps on their Night And Day Tour in Amsterdam, Paris & Cologne (https://youtu.be/d68jyPQIOEw), 3 sold-out hometown shows, slots at Y Not Festival and Wilkestock Festival, a show exclusive to BBC staff at the Broadcasting House in London and regular shows all over the UK with touring bands/artists.

Shadowboxer

Formed in 2016 whilst studying at the University of East Anglia, the band released their first EP, Bestowed, in October 2017. Using the EP to spread their name, the band organised a tour in January 2018. The result of the tour was a band with a defined sound. Completing their lineup with Joe Maguire of Marigolds as co-frontman in April 2018, the band hit the studio to record their second EP, The Wolf, The Waves, due for release on 23rd November. Explosive riffs, catchy choruses and intricate instrumentation mark them out as a band to watch, as comfortable with three-chord punk as they are with math-rock inspired indie.
