Where are you from from?

‘Where are you from? No, where are you really from?’ A question you've possibly heard before, but never known how to answer. Is it where we were born? Where our grandparents were born? The places we have been or the experiences we’ve had? 

The LDC Students of Colour Ambassadors and Do Something Different invite you to participate in an afternoon of storytelling.

Come tell us your story at our inaugural storytelling event: Where are you from from? Share your own personal story; something that shines a light on the different places and cultures that form the tapestry of your being. You can make us laugh, or you can make us cry, as we come together to celebrate stories of lived experience, heritage and diaspora. We are especially opening this event up to members of our Black diaspora as a continuation of the celebration of Black History Month and everyone is welcome.
