Is this event COVID Safe?

Cars provide perfect social distancing and will be parked to allow plenty of space should you need to leave your vehicle to use the on-site facilities. Additional measures will also be put in place for a safe event experience, following all government guidelines. This includes front of house staff wearing PPE, safely distanced built-in toilets, hand sanitising stations and queuing points at facilities. You will need to stay in your vehicle for the duration of the event, except when using the toilet or catering facilities or in ase of emergency. We aim to provide the safest environment possible so you can sit back and enjoy the event.

Please do not attend the event if you are COVID-19 symptomatic (high temperature, new persistent cough and/or loss of taste and smell).

How do we hear the movie?

You will listen to movies via an FM signal to your radios. If your car does not have FM radio receivers then you could bring a portable radio and tune in. Please make sure your radio has good battery life and spare batteries. We do have other solutions but in the current climate would prefer to minimise contact! Please get in touch if you have a unique situation.

Are children allowed to attend?

Of course. YES. Please check the film certificate in advance to make sure the film is suitable for you and your passengers. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is under the certification age.

How many guests per car?

The 'Rule of Six' applies - so a maximum of six people per car unless all from one household. Please check and adhere to the latest government guidance.

Tickets are priced per vehicle (not per person) so you are more than welcome to bring passengers up to your vehicle's legal limit. This is great for families with children, of course subject to film licensing certificates. For the best drive-in experience we recommend a minimum two adults per car. However, depending on your vehicle type we cannot guarantee the view from the back seats. It may be easier for kids to find unique spaces or sit on laps. This is your call.

Are large/tall vehicles allowed?

Large cars such as 4x4s, SUVs and people carriers are allowed, but will be positioned on the back row or the wings of the rows to allow other customers optimal viewing of the screen.

What time should I arrive?

Please check the movie start time and arrive 30-90 minutes before the movie starts so we can check you in and park you up in time. Gates will close 30 minutes before the movie starts. Please note that spaces are first come first served for the front rows. There are no VIPs or Golden Circles.

Will there be toilets?

We have the use of washroom facilities on site if you need them. Event session windows are no more than three hours, so you could remain safely in cars throughout if not caught short, but rest assured all of our events have toilet facilities, including accessible facilities. Toilets will be spaced to allow for social distancing and will be professionally cleaned throughout. The health and safety of our customers and staff is super important to us, so you can expect a clean and safe experience.

What about food and drink?

We have an amazing street food market a few seconds away from the drive-in area so you can enjoy some amazing local street food. There will be a minimum of four traders on site serving throughout the event. There may be a car delivery service with a minimum spend (we will advise nearer the time). Please note it would be impossible to offer this service to all cars in such a short time window before the movie starts. Please check Eating Street for more information.

Please note there is no policy prohibiting you from bringing your own food and drink to the event. Please be responsible if bringing alcohol for passengers. Challenge 25 will be in operation for those drinking alcohol in cars due to licensing conditions. Police will be called if drivers are seen drinking alcohol. Please do not leave litter in the arena.

What should I do with litter?

Please take all litter home with you. This will help to keep the event area clean for the next screening - as you will appreciate it being left clean for you from the previous screening. This helps keep our staff safe and allow us to operate with minimal contact and optimal social distancing.

Can we buy tickets on the gate?

Tickets are only available online and we have an extremely limited number of tickets per show so we recommend purchasing when you can.

Can we bring dogs?

Dogs are allowed but if they become a noise nuisance to other customers you will be asked to move to the rear or to the side of the arena. Please be responsible with any mess.

Can we smoke?

Smoking is permitted outside and in your car, but out of respect to other audience members nearby, please make sure that any smoke does not affect their experience. Alternatively, we ask that you go to the rear of the audience area. Please dispose of your rubbish appropriately.

What about the weather?

Drive-ins provide a great weather-proof experience. Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for the Great British Summer when leaving cars for the facilities. Screenings are not cancelled in adverse weather conditions unless severe.

Are tickets refundable?

All tickets are non-refundable. Once purchased they are your property.

If you can't make the event for any reason, consider giving them to a friend or feel free to sell them on.

Cancellation Policy

If the event is cancelled due to COVID, alternative dates will be offered or refunds issued minus booking fees.

In the unlikely event of postponing the screening due to extreme weather conditions e.g. severe high winds, the tickets will remain valid for the replacement date or other Pop Up Pictures Ltd events in the future. When redeeming tickets at future events, we must be advised in advance via email so we can balance our numbers. If alternative dates are not possible, refunds will be issued minus booking fees.
