For London based Delaire The Liar, expressing a central truth is at the very core of all they create. Defying obvious genre pigeon-holing, they deftly blend soaring melody, driving rhythm and a powerfully narrative song writing style – delivering songs which pull at threads of loss, guilt, and human responsibility with astonishing candour. 

Inspired by the literary works of Audre Lorde, Maggie Nelson and especially the emotional universality of E.E. Cummings (not to mention the visceral delivery of La Dispute and Alexisonfire) in just the few short months since they burst onto the scene the band have already attracted a host of praise from critics and fans alike.

In 2019, DTL toured with Holding Absence, played 2000 Trees, shared a stage with Creeper, Vukovi, Mom Jeans, Free Throw, Gouge Away and most recently Cancer Bats, at The Heavy Music Awards
