Krav Maga Self-Defence Workshop

Krav Maga is renowned for being the most comprehensive self-defence instructors training course in the world. It consists of a wide combination of techniques sourced from Boxing, Muay Thai, Judo, Jujutsu and Wrestling along with realistic fight train
Please complete, print out and take the Health Questionnaire with you to the training. Make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start, especially if you do not have the Health Questionnaire, so you can fill it in. The session will start at 13.30am sharp. If you are late you may not be able to attend.
During the 2-hour “Do Something Different” Krav Maga Self-defence Workshop we will be looking at:
1. Avoidance & De-escalation skills
2. The use of everyday objects to protect yourself
3. How to use the body’s natural reflexes
4. Striking to vulnerable areas
5. Neutralising threats
6. Avoiding injury
And several Krav Maga Self-defence techniques such as;
• Striking
• Kicking
• Wrist Grabs
• Chokes
• Headlocks
• Shirt grabs T
he Chief Instructor of AR Krav Maga is Tony Robinson MSc S&C. Tony started instructing Krav Maga in 2014 after completing his General Instructors Course (GIC) with Krav Maga Global (KMG). Krav Maga is subject to UK self-defence law. The law in relation to reasonable force for purposes of self-defence comes under Section 76 of the Criminal Justice and immigration Act 2008.
This is a Do Something Different activity. Do Something Different is an extracurricular programme to enhance your time at university. From our week long festival in February to daily activities ranging from arts to sports, there is a do something different activity happening everyday!
