First Aid - Level 3 Emergency at Work

This is a 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work.
During the course you will cover the following;
- Role of a First Aider/Aims of First Aid
- Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively/Primary Survey
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious (including seizure)
- Administer CPR & AED
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from heart attack
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is choking
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding
- Understand the importance of preventing cross infection
- Understand the importance of recording incidents and actions
- Understand the importance of use of available equipment
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from burns and scalds
- Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries including: Small cuts, grazes, bruises and splinters
And on completion of this course you will receive a Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate that is recognised by HSE.
