2:54's emergence in summer 2010 was almost bashful. The plaudits, however, were instant. First US blog-bibles like Gorilla vs Bear and Fader caught on, along with the style-conscious NYLON. September saw their first few live stints, after being personally invited on the road with musical siblings, Warpaint and Melissa Auf der Maur before Christmas. The past twelve months have been spent on tour across Europe, taking in treks with Yuck and Wild Beasts, the spring saw the release of single ‘On A Wire’ which was chosen by Radio 1’s Zane Lowe as his 'Next Hype' record of the week, championed by Huw Stephens and even received breakthrough daytime plays from Fearne Cotton. 'Stinging, spite-laden guitar and mesmerisingly chilly tones' - NME Chelsea Wolfe has come a long way very quickly. She recorded an exclusive i-N Session with i-D Magazine and was given 'New Band of the Day' by The Guardian and 'Band Crush' by NYLON Magazine. Chelsea Wolfe is already hard at work on a third album, fittingly self-titled considering her newfound poise, due out this year. In 2009, Wolfe embarked on a three-month stint abroad with a group of nomadic performance artists, playing cathedrals, basements and returned home with the harrowing debut album, The Grime & the Glow. She relocated to Los Angeles in the same year and recorded her second album Apokalypsis showcasing her unique songwriting ability, as well as a serious heaviness of sound and a transcendent voice, which rightly landed it on numerous best of 2011 lists. Please note: This event is for over 14’s only
